CHEESEMONGER - Etymology - Old English mangere, from Proto-Germanic *mangojan, from Latin mango "dealer, trader".

Noun - monger (plural mongers)

1.     (UK) A dealer in a specific commodity, normally used in combination costermonger fishmonger ironmonger

2.     A person promoting something undesirable, always used in combination warmonger (well that's not us!)

We are cheesemongers in training. We come from varied backgrounds and we love cheese and everything about it. We respect cheese and while we don't take ourselves too seriously, we take cheese seriously.
